Goddess Hecate Candle has been intricately designed finely detailed with many tiny parts and handmade.
Hecate, both Goddess, and Titan was accepted at an early date into Greek religion but probably derived from the Carians in southwest Asia Minor. In Hesiod she is the daughter of the Titan Perses and the nymph Asteria and has power over heaven, earth, and sea; hence, she bestows wealth and all the blessings of daily life.
Hecate was the chief goddess presiding over magic and spells. She witnessed the abduction of Demeter’s daughter Persephone to the underworld and, torch in hand, assisted in the search for her. Thus, pillars called Hecataea stood at crossroads and doorways, perhaps to keep away evil spirits. Hecate was represented as single-formed, clad in a long robe, holding burning torches; in later representations, she was triple-formed, with three bodies standing back-to-back, probably so that she could look in all directions at once from the crossroads. She inspires and enthralls people around the world. When you are at the crossroads she can light your way. She was accompanied by packs of barking dogs.

☆*Please note: The Hekate candle has some extremely fragile parts. Her headdress in particular, has "spikey" edges, they often break within the mold itself. If not in the mold, they will in transit. We have done all that we can to correct this but unfortunately, she just has much too fragile pieces. If you are missing miniscule pieces from her,(headdress spikes, leaf tips, nothing major), we humbly ask this be acceptable. When we receive too many complaints regarding minor breaks on candles, we end up discontinuing shipping them. We do not want this to become the case with Hekate.
